The teaching objective of The Woods School of Irish Dance
is to enhance the development of each dancer's technical skills
while also developing positive self-esteem. We accept the responsibility
to increase confidence through individual and team accomplishments.
To achieve these goals we create a positive and fun-filled environment
while challenging students to achieve their highest individual
potential. This balance is accomplished through comprehensive
instruction and discipline, accompanied by healthy doses of encouragement.
Dancers from the Woods School of Irish Dance have repeatedly placed at Regional and National Irish Dancing competitions and have appeared for the enjoyment of audiences at locations including the FleetBoston Pavilion, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hynes Convention Center in addition to numerous cultural, civic and other professional events.
